Our History
Ben Baena started his upholstery and drapery business in 1945 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and quickly developed an industry reputation for exceptional craftsmanship with custom designs. He was well known not only for his distinctive creative abilities but also for his business integrity, generosity and trust.
Ben became a true artisan with a passion for his craft.
He passed his talents and work ethic on to his children, Irene and Matthew, and his grandson, Jonathan. The Baena family continues to take the designer's vision and turn it into impressive reality.
After 72 years as a wholesale drapery workroom Ben Baena and Son's industry knowledge, creative abilities and level of excellence have become the bar which others seek to achieve.
